Looking for something to do tomorrow night? Matchless Knack, a performance project set up by 3 final year students, are hosting a Dance Show on Wednesday 29th April 2015 in Pulse.
The Dance Show includes three performance acts. The event starts with a lively performance from Swing Soc, followed by Dance Sport’s Latin twist and topped off by an incredible routine by Vertical Fitness.
A selection of delicious food platters will be provided by The Terrace with drinks available at the bar. Audience members can enjoy a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, where friends can grab their own table, and enjoy the evening’s festivities.
Matchless Knack’s aim is to promote and showcase LUU performers by providing them with a platform in a relaxed and social environment. Any profit made from the event will be equally distributed to each dance society. The project is aimed at creating a unique and intimate experience where the audience have the opportunity to participate or feel a part of performance if they’re feeling keen. There’s a treat in store for taking part in audience feedback at the end of the night.
This event follows a successful comedy night when the stage was set for improv group ‘The Shambles, as well as a fantastic group of stand-up performers. Matchless Knack is a newly formed events company created as a final year enterprise project. The project provides entrepreneurial training and transferable skills. The groups motto ‘You’re invited to pull up a chair and get caught in the act!’ encourages audiences to relax and get involved whilst promoting performers and giving them a space to try new acts. Each event provides food to create a comfortable environment for people to socialise with friends and enjoy the entertainment.
Tickets cost £5 (+£0.75 booking fee) and are available at http://www.leedstickets.com/eventinfo/4631/Matchless-Knack-Dance-Night. Doors open at 6:30pm.
