The Union has announced that Rizzle Kicks are the headline act for this year’s Summer Ball.

Other acts include The Orwells and Irish folk band Hudson Taylor. LUU Big Band will also grace the stage as part of the nine-hour extravaganza on June 7.

A French and Theology student told the paper: “I didn’t even know there were live acts. The line-up looks so good!”

Third year, History student tweeted: ‘Foxes at the Leeds Ball will literally make my life’.

Other attractions include dodgems, ferris wheel, laser quest and a cider and ale festival.

Another student told LS: “I’ve not heard of half the line-up to be honest!”

Early-bird tickets for Leeds Ball are on sale from May 5. for £27. Full price tickets will go on sale from May 12 onwards at £32.
