A man wanted for an assault on a 16 year old has been arrested outside the Henry Price accommodation.

An 18 year old male was arrested and put into the back of a police van last week.

The arrest was carried out by West Yorkshire Police and University Security Services on behalf of Greater Manchester Police, who were investigating an attack which took place in the city centre on October 13.

It is unknown how the suspect travelled to Leeds.

A University spokesperson said: “We can confirm that our security team aided the police in arresting a suspect in connection with an alleged incident at the weekend. Enquiries are ongoing.”

A total of three men, all aged 18, have been arrested in relation to the assault. They have all been bailed until November.
