Amelia Windsor is a third year Edinburgh University student – so it’s perhaps no surprise that she dresses in that typically Edinburgh ‘posh-but-still-edgy’ way: always looking effortless but still perfect even with minimal makeup, it’s a look a lot of us strive for. Amelia isn’t your standard posho, though – she’s got blue blood, standing 36th in line to the throne. It’s no surprise, then, that she’s an absolute style queen.
Pairing a bold jacket with wide leg trousers, Amelia radiates hippie vibes here. Her hair in two quaint plaits completes the look, harking back to the 70s. A quirky statement piece paired with a casual and comfortable outfit is a signature for this lovely lady.
Pictured here in Knightsbridge, Amelia dons a simple red top with some wide leg denim jeans. Amelia’s outfits are often quite plain and laid-back, but her simplicity is the key to her style success. Pairing this toned-down look with some edgy shades and leopard-print shoes adds to the effortless vibe whilst adding something special to the outfit.
One of my favourite outfits of hers, Amelia here suits those plaid trousers to a T. Paired with chunky boots, a cute necklace, and a casual black long sleeve top, Amelia puts her twist on some serious 90s grunge vibes.
As aforementioned, a statement jacket with a toned-down outfit is a classic Amelia move. Here, her jacket is just the stuff of dreams – faux fur with all the prettiest colours, it’s both classy and edgy without being garish or over-the-top. The grey that dominates the rest of her outfit helps to balance out the colour, and the result is some serious fashion envy.
Pictured here on holiday Amelia’s pairing of a black jumpsuit with a bright orange t-shirt is perfectly balanced. Wearing her trusty leopard-print shoes again, she pulls off yet another effortless, but stylish ensemble. And, outfit aside – this picture is just so pretty!
