It’s the beginning of term, the beginning of a new chapter and, for most of us, the beginning of the slippery slope into your overdraft! With all of this new found freedom, it can be hard to manage your pennies…especially when a night out in the city centre, followed by a customary McDonalds, is way more important than your weekly food shop. But don’t let these student struggles stop you from setting the trends on (and off!) campus. We’ve found some high street fashion dupes to make sure you’re getting the designer look for less.
STAUD vs. Missguided
Right now, it’s all about the wide leg pants and nude tones. But instead of going hungry for a month after spending £200 on these STAUD trousers, Missguided ask for just £18 for the trend.
Chloé vs. Mango
At £1,150, Chloé’s leather shoulder bag bag can only exist in our dreams…thank goodness we’ve got Mango to serve us this £29.99 steal!
Marcus Lupfer vs. Topshop
The iconic Marcus Lupfer lip is back again this Fall/Winter season. Thankfully you can avoid burning a hole in your pocket spending £200 on the luxury. Topshop provide similar vibes at a fraction of the price at £16.
Prada vs. Boohoo
New season Prada struts straight off the runway at £1,245, but you can still shake your tail feather in Boohoo with their cami coming in at £8! Drinks at Fruity will be on you after that super saving.
Kurt Geiger vs. New Look
With the winter months on the way, it might be time to invest in some new boots. Once again the biker style boots seem to be making a comeback with Kurt Geiger introducing these Carvelas at £179, whereas New Look gives us the same style for £27.99. It’s a no-brainer really!
So, with all this money you’ll be saving, why not join some societies or get yourself down to some Give it a Go sessions to make the most of your time at Leeds…whilst keeping up with the hottest trends along the way!
