Exactly 6 months after their last show in Leeds sold out, Nubiyan Twist are set to play Belgrave Music Hall this weekend to launch their EP, ‘Siren Song’, which is out on the 27 th May. Nubiyan Twist formed in 2011 at Leeds College Of Music and since then have achieved a significant following and played at numerous festivals such as Secret Garden party and Soundwave Croatia. Taking influences from soul, funk, jazz, hop-hop, reggae, afrobeat and dub, their sets are exciting and full of energy, a combination which makes it impossible not to dance to.

Nubyan Twist’s performance is not the only thing to get excited about as support comes from Nubiyan Twist’s Brazilian singer/percussionist Pilo Adami and his samba band AfroSamba and there will also be dj sets Soul Rebels and Phuture Motion. For all lovers of excellent music and a good dance, there is definitely no better place to spend your Saturday night.
