Emmy the Great, Belgrave Music Hall, 16th March, 7:30pm, £15.40

Emmy the Great is a London-based singer-songwriter who is bringing her indie-folk sounds to Leeds’ Belgrave Music Hall. Despite not having released an album since 2011, Emmy has slowly been bringing singles and EPs out from the works over the past two years. Tracks such as ‘Swimming Pool’ and ‘Dance w Me’ have provided her with much support from the likes of BBC Radio 6, and are definitely worth a listen!

Zeitgeist + Snack Family + Lambhorn + Cameron Vale, Belgrave Music Hall, 17th March, 8:00pm, £5

A range of bands spanning from Leeds, Bristol and London are coming together for a night of wall-to-wall music. Expect copious amounts of improvised and experimental rock in many forms. With the dream-like, prog-rock sounds of Lambhorn, the lo-fi qualities of Snack Family intermingled with the progressive jazz tendencies of Cameron Vale and Zeitgeist, it is sure to be a colourful night!

 

Untamed, The Fenton, 19th March, 6:00pm, £3

Untamed is a Yorkshire Hip-Hop show were a variety of acts come together to showcase their abilities and create music. Performers include the likes of King Lion, Kid Genesis, Maney Mac, Lence, Young Sharp and Joey NSY, bringing together an exciting array of grime, progressive Hip-Hop and poetry.
