Leeds Union Music Library returns to Wharf Chambers this Wednesday for Strange Parade, a biannual party where the UML members provide the soundtrack. Taking the form of a ‘live mixtape’, this is a chance to experience the diverse musical talent of the library’s members, and hear a wide selection of music, from alt-rock to acid house.
Kicking off at 7pm, there will be a steady lineup of DJs throughout the night, whilst two brilliant Leeds bands will also be performing. Rapidly building a reputation as one of the local scene’s liveliest band, Zozo are guaranteed to get people dancing, whilst Kumiko will be performing emotive songs inspired by the likes of Radiohead and St Vincent.
Free for UML members and £2 for non-members.
Wharf Chambers is a members’ club and safe space and you need to be a member, or guest of a member, in order to attend. To join, please visit wharfchambers.org. Membership costs £1 and requires a minimum of 48 hours to take effect.
