With Leeds Festival just around the corner, we’ve put together a playlist of our picks from this year’s line up. This year features a more diverse selection of acts than ever and festival-goers are promised the biggest and best names in multiple genres. Here are just a few of the sets you can’t miss next weekend.
1. Main Stage: The Maccabees – Spit It Out
The recently released Marks To Prove It is perfectly summarised by third single ‘Spit It Out’ which samples the energy and contrast captured within the album.
2. NME / BBC Radio 1 Stage: Swim Deep – Namaste
The long-awaited follow up to their debut album resulted in a change of direction for the Birmingham boys, with an added psychedelic twist to their usual mellow sound.

A subtle introduction meets suspense-filled verses and huge choruses in this genre-defying track.
4. BBC Radio 1Xtra Stage: Remi Miles – I Want You
The debut single combines older influences with a stylish beat that results in a refreshingly new style of music.
5. BBC Introducing Stage: NARCS – Coast To Coast
Featuring on their 2013 debut album, ‘Coast To Coast’ showcases some of Leeds’ most promising up-and-coming talent at the moment.
