Student hot-spot Headingley is set to become only the second location in the UK to boast its very own cereal cafe.
Moo’d Cereal House, which will be located at 59 Otley Road in Headingley, describes itself as “Yorkshire’s first cereal bar, run by fruit loops” and will look to emulate the success of London-based Cereal Killer Cafe.
The Gryphon understands that Moo’d will be serving bowls of everyone’s favorite breakfast cereals, both from home and abroad, as well as supplying a large choice of flavoured milks for hungry customers to experiment with.
The reaction to the news has appeared overwhelmingly positive, with many students and residents alike taking to twitter to vent their excitement. Leeds University Union’s Welfare Officer Freya Govus tweeted “A cereal bar is coming to Headingley!! Exciting”, whilst food critics and popular local Twitter page Restaurants of Leeds tweeted “A new cereal cafe opening up in Headingley soon! We all love a good bowl in the morning!@MoodCerealHouse”.
Moo’d Cereal House is set to open for business later this month.
