When Nike announced that they were teaming up with Liberty Prints London to design a new exclusive range of trainers, the fashion scene waited with baited breath to see if this clash of traditional floral designs and practical sportswear would mix. However with the range released on the first of this month, it is true to say that the range is a perfect mix between vintage prints reminiscent of English heritage and Nike’s classic look. The trainers pictured are ‘Burgundy Belmont Ivy Liberty Print Air Max 1’ and retail at £115. However, other trainers in the range exceed this price and it is clear they are a luxury item that really stretch the student budget. When styling an outfit to match this shoe the look should remain fairly simply and chic so as not to compromise the busy design and vivid colours.

Although these shoes are pricey, if you are looking to invest in a new practical trainer that still incorporates a sense of history and style, the Nike X Liberty range is where you should look.
