Fashion | Peter Pilotto for Target

Our brand is about print, but it’s also about the emotional feeling you can get from colour and colour combinations” (Pilotto, January 2014)

After releasing the news that Peter Pilotto will be collaborating with Target last September, we’ve been eagerly waiting and lusting over their lookbook before the collection hits stores this Sunday the 9th of February.  Cooperating with his partner Christopher De Vos, Pilotto is renounced in Britain for his fashion brand. Celebrated for their use of innovative, complex and colourful layered prints, this new collection epitomises the Pilotto look for a fraction of the price.

A new scope of excellence is reached with a blend of classic ideas with a modern vision, where their wild melanges of prints become both feminine and empowering. With the buzz of the supermarket giant’s past collaboration and their partnership with a British brand this collaboration has grabbed the attention of the industry and the fashion elite.

The fun and playfulness the designers have presented is the perfect collection to have in a women’s wardrobe to welcome summer after the cold winters. The 70 piece range from dresses to shoes has excelled expectations for this collaboration. What’s most impressive? The ability to create any outfit with the use of everything on offer from Pilotto and not only that, it expands to accessories. De Vos comments that it began with swimwear but the aim was to build a look with pieces such as towels and tops to complement each other.

The modularity and kaleidoscopic prints created are perfect to stand out from any wardrobe. Plus this is the first time UK shoppers have been able to purchase Target’s collaboration range from across the pond. Any more reasons why you should head to NET-A-PORTER on the 9th?
