News | Union's Remembrance Day service

A Remembrance Day service is to be held on Monday November 11 outside Leeds University Union.

The service is being hosted by Leeds Officer Training Corps and LUU and will start at 10.55am.

Following the service, there will be a minute’s silence at 11am to remember members of the armed forces who died in the line of duty.

Elsewhere in Leeds, the city’s annual Remembrance Sunday parade begins at the Civic hall at 10.45am on November 10th, bound for the Leeds War Memorial in Victoria Gardens.

The ceremony will include a two minute silence, a short service and a march past Leeds Town Hall.
