Beginning their tour in Bristol on the 15th of November, JAWS are back once again to provide fans with a showcase of old tracks and new, particularly those from their recent album – The Ceiling.
Hailing in from Birmingham, the band’s made up of Connor Schofield, Alex Hudson and Eddy Geach. The boys have been collaborating ever since their first single ‘Toucan Surf’ back in 2012. Often compared to the likes of The Magic Gang, Sundara Karma and The Night Café, JAWS provide their own, individual dreamlike vibes alongside the vibrance of indie that we’re all familiar with.
Their third and most recent album, The Ceiling, is said to be the bands ‘most diverse’ album, taking the band in various new directions together. It’s hazy, magical and nostalgic; giving insight into feelings that both the band, and ourselves as fans, might’ve had to battle with.
For those who are fans of indie-rock and dream-pop, JAWS provide the perfect soundtrack for when we don’t have things quite figured out. It goes without saying, based on how their shows back in April had popped off, the tour isn’t one to miss either.
