Hailing from Berlin, Objekt’s avant-garde blend of crushing dubstep and sinister techno has been making waves since 2011, when (real name) TJ Hertz released ‘Objekt EP1’, but tomorrow night he will be heading a mouth-watering bill of artists at Leeds’ Mint Warehouse.
Joining him, The Zenker Brothers will be bringing a showcase of their seminal record label ‘Ilian Tape’, with the ever enigmatic Skee Mask tagging along for a B2B just days after the announcement of his new EP ‘ISS004’.
It’s not often you get such an eclectic mix of DJs, who have all pushed the boundaries of electronic music, on the same line up, but Red Bull and Mint are providing a stellar selection for Leeds’ inclusive clubbing scene.
Curated by Stuart Forsyth and DJ Sofi, the Signals event promises “slammers, bangers, thumpers and heaters”, so if you’re on the fence about tomorrow night’s shenanigans, hopefully this highly provocative description will nudge you closer to buying a ticket.
Get yourself to Mint on Saturday, you really won’t want to be missing this one.
