Fighting With My Family punches high above expectations!

Fighting with My Family is a heart-warming comedy based on the incredible true story of Paige aka Raya Knight (Florence Pugh), and her fight to become the next WWE Superstar. Born into a tight knit family of wrestlers, Paige and her brother Zak (Jack Lowden) are ecstatic when they are asked to try out for WWE, a once in a lifetime dream opportunity. However, only Paige manages to earn a spot on the competitive training program, forcing her to leave her family and attempt to face the world of wrestling outside of her family, alone.

It’s families that smack down together, stay together, in this Cinderella meets Rocky story. With class acting from Nick Frost and Lena Headley who make up the supportive parents, to Vince Vaughn who leads the WWE training, and even an appearance from the Rock himself Dwayne Johnson, this film really has a stellar cast.

The film also presents high exposure for WWE studios, shedding a light on its tough process but also on its inclusion policy, celebrating diversity in the wrestling ring. Much like the sport it commends, Fighting with My Family, pushes past clichés with energy and committed acting that should leave audiences cheering.

This is the perfect, dysfunctional family film, which showcases the absurdities of a life in wrestling and one girl’s quest to follow her dream as a WWE wrestler.

This funny, heartfelt movie is a must see, on your February / March watch list!
