Top 5 Valentine’s Menus in Leeds

With supermarkets filling their ‘seasonal’ isles with heart-shaped everything and florists displaying roses just that little bit early, it probably hasn’t escaped your notice that Valentine’s Day is on the way. If you’re struggling to find the perfect date night for you and your boyfriend, girlfriend or best pal, fear not! Leeds has plenty to offer in the form of specially-made Valentine’s Day menus.

The Lost & Found

Although best known for its array of impressive cocktails and Victorian-inspired interior, The Lost & Found restaurant and bar also offers some fancy dining options. For Valentine’s Day, they’re serving a three-course menu at £29.95 per person, which includes an arrival drink (a rose-flavoured prosecco, of course). If you’re dining with a cocktail lover this Valentine’s Day and want to impress, you can even add another two rose-themed cocktails to the experience, totalling one cocktail with every course, for an extra £10 per person.

Manahatta

Spending Valentine’s Day on a student budget? Manahatta has you covered. Located in Headingley and previously called Arc (you’ve probably been there on an Otley run), Manahatta is offering two pizzas and two drinks for just £20 – the perfect Valentine’s meal for those of us whose student loan is running dangerously low. Choose from any pizza on the menu and either a glass of prosecco or a pint of Coors.

Blackhouse – The Grill on the Square

If you’re a steak fan, then Blackhouse – The Grill on the Square is the place for you. With three restaurants across the north of England, including one in Leeds, Blackhouse offers a more independent (and way cooler) alternative to the likes of Miller and Carter. Whilst the Valentine’s Day menu is quite pricey at £40 per person, the included bottomless prosecco and beer definitely makes it worth it, whether you’re treating that special someone or drowning your sorrows with another single friend. The menu itself isn’t available online yet, but expect two courses of quality beef and seafood, grilled by experts.

Teppanyaki

Teppanyaki takes its name from a Japanese style of cooking involving grilling food on an iron hot plate. It makes for an entertaining meal when performed in front of restaurant guests. So if you’re looking for something a bit more exciting this Valentine’s Day, Teppanyaki can provide just that, as you get to watch your meal being flipped, juggled and set on fire in front of your very eyes. The Valentine’s Day menu has three different set menus for two, the cheapest being only £38.50 – that’s around £19 each, unless your date kindly offers to pay the bill.

L’Art du Fromage

If you and your significant other are cheese fiends, then this is the Valentine’s Day restaurant for you. L’Art du Fromage specialises in raclette – huge chunks of Alpine cheese slowly melted at the table then piled onto accompaniments such as bread, meats and potatoes. Whilst they don’t seem to be offering a one-off Valentine’s Day menu, there’s nothing more romantic than sharing molten cheese, so the restaurant will definitely be a Valentine’s Day hotspot.

Grab a loved one and discover one of these amazing restaurants in Leeds this Valentine’s Day. You won’t be disappointed!
