Films to Watch: March

We take a look at the month’s most exciting releases.

Annihilation (12/03, Netflix)

The latest film from director Alex Garland (Ex Machina) and starring Natalie Portman, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson and Oscar Isaacs, Annihilation looks like it might become the next big sci-fi classic.

A Wrinkle In Time (22/03)

Directed by Ava DuVernay, A Wrinkle In Time follows teenage Meg, her brother and their friend as they’re set on a quest to find her missing scientist father. Starring Oprah Winfrey, Storm Reid, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling.

Ready Player One (29/03)

Steven Spielberg’s  adaptation of the classic young-adult novel looks like it will be bringing 90s nostalgia in buckets. With Spielberg at the helm, Ready Player One is sure to be (at the very least) a fun romp through your childhood.

Isle of Dogs (30/03)

It’s a new Wes Anderson film, it features a little boy and five stop-motion dogs, boasts an amazing cast, and features music by Oscar-winner Alexandre Desplat. This one’s unmissable, and looks to be another great addition to Anderson’s already excellent body of work.
