As a little bonus for the festive season, Leeds University Union is bringing as ice rink to the Riley Smith Theatre.
What makes the offer of taking to the ice on Tuesday 5th December even better, is that students will be able to do it for free.
The rink, which will run from 10am – 4pm, will allow students a 20 minute slot of wintery fun, with the union providing the ice skates.
Community Office, George Bissett, said:
“For making it through Term One, before you go home for the holidays, we wanted to treat you all to some fun you could get together for. And nothing says that better than a one day ice rink.”
This marks just one of the ways the Union is seeking to get in the Christmas spirit, with two Winter Markets, a pantomime and, of course, a Christmas Fruity.
If you fancy doing a ‘triple salchow’ or an ‘iron lotus’, you can sign up for a slot here.
