Bongo’s Bingo has developed a now-international reputation for being fun, ridiculous and unashamedly extra. And now, staying true to form, they’ve upped the stakes once again for the latest party, the Oktoberfest special at South Bank Depot.

If you’re not familiar with Bongo’s Bingo, let me give you the lowdown. Bongo’s Bingo isn’t your average game of bingo. Starting out in Liverpool, but since then expanding across the UK, the night fuses bingo with clubbing, to provide a night like no other. There’s cash prizes, “shit” prizes like Coco Pops and cardboard cut-outs of famous people, dance-offs, rave intervals, singalongs… you get the idea. It’s pretty mad.

Straying from its traditional Leeds home of Canal Mills, the night promises to be the most entertaining rendition yet, with a special guest appearance from So Solid Crew adding another element to the occasion. Keeping in with the Oktoberfest theme, there’ll be steins, bratwurst, lederhosen, and more. Garage music, oversized sausages, and dancing on tables – what’s not to like?
