Straight off the festival scene and embarking on a unmissable European tour, indie favourites Sundara Karma are setting off on yet another UK tour with shows continuing to sell out.
The brightly clad Reading boys blur the lines between masculinity and vintage rock in a manner without seeming like a parody. This has a lot to do with their fresh take on the ever-clichéd indie-pop sound, bringing a refreshing nuance to the scene. Their debut album Youth is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect is filled with crowd pleasing anthems, with bonus tracks like ‘Explore’ managing to tide fans over until a new awaited release.
By making their name through supporting artists like Neck Deep and Mystery Jets, the band believe in highlighting emerging talent on the scene, highlighting upcoming support acts. Thus expect to see The Magic Gang warming up the O2 Academy stage when Sundara Karma grace Leeds on the 9th October. Despite being a support act, The Magic Gang deserve to be in realm of their own, with hits such as ‘No Fun’ and ‘All I Want Is You’ threatening to take the limelight.
Both Sundara Karma and The Magic Gang are beloved acts within the indie live scene, and with British music guitar bands set to rise even more, grab your chance to this electric shows on the 2nd of October at the star-clad O2 Academy.
