A large area of Woodhouse Moor has been cordoned off by police today, after a woman was assaulted in the early hours of the morning on Woodhouse Lane.

The woman, who is believed to be in her mid-20s, was attacked in the park area at around 4am.

A large section of the park was cordoned off, and a white forensics tent could seen surrounded by a team of forensic officers.

West Yorkshire Police have yet to release more details surrounding the attack.
