Singer songwriter Luke Sital-Singh first came onto the scene in 2012 with his debut EP Fail for You and this song was actually featured on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. He’s gone on to release more EPs and singles and was even longlisted for BBC’s Sound of…2014 alongside the likes of Nick Mulvey, Sampha and Sam Smith. This talented gentleman echoes Damien Rice and Tom Odell with his sweet voice and genius lyricism. ‘Killing Me’ vocalises such a deep emotion and the slow piano melody is one to remember. He pours so much soul into this one song, it’s hard to move onto another track without jumping to press repeat. His hit single, ‘Nothing Stays the Same’, made the BBC Radio 1 Music B-list and even charted in the Top 100 UK Singles Chart.
Fusing folk with indie to create beautiful songs, Sital-Singh has previously performed at the likes of independent festival Barn on the Farm festival, alongside other intimate performances from artists such as Luke, James Bay and Frances. This gem will be touring in Spring 2017, stopping off at our very own Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen on May 18th; be sure to check him out!
