It’s fitting to consider ourselves blessed by the return of Scottish indie legends the Jesus & Mary Chain. Their 1985 debut Pyschocandy will be forever heralded as one of the most iconic alternative records of all time, and finally the band are coming to Leeds following their first album release in almost 20 years.
Entitled Damage and Joy, the record is set for release on March 24th and will no doubt be a much welcomed return, featuring contributions from Sky Ferreria and former member of Belle and Sebastian, Isobel Campbell.
The band are set to play the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival in Glasgow (24th-26th March) and a series of live shows will prove unmissable for such a seminal band. Book your tickets now for the 27th of March at The Church in Leeds.
