Straight off the back of ethereal new album Migration, Bonobo is set to grace Leeds’ O2 Academy next Wednesday night. And with such a diverse back catalogue to draw from, the night looks set to be electric.

Bonobo, A.K.A. Simon Green, has been honing his sophisticated style ever since Animal Magic back in 2000, drawing together elements of house and acid jazz with African and even Middle Eastern music. The result is a sophisticated form of electronica chill-out with deliciously subtle grooves.

While Green often tours as a DJ, Wednesday is also a chance to hear the live ensemble playing his fully fleshed-out arrangements. This promise of Bonobo’s huge live sound has seen his tour dates sell out across the board; be sure not to miss him this Wednesday 1st March at O2 Academy!
