Devonshire Hall present The Vagina Monologues

The hotspot for performing arts in Leeds has always started in Devonshire Hall, let’s face it. This year, Dev’s choice of production is slightly more left-field than usual as they’re putting on Eve Ensler’s infamous The Vagina Monologues.

The Vagina Monologues is a cornerstone of contemporary political theatre and student productions of Ensler don’t come around that often, so you’d be a fool to miss this one. The monologues explore themes from the female experience, so yes vaginas, but that includes topics like sex and love all the way to powerful discussions of FGM.

Their short run continues tonight, Friday, February 24th at Devonshire Hall in the dining hall. Doors will open at 7:15 PM and the show will begin at 7:30 PM.

Tickets are £3 at the door, with all proceeds going charity, including Leeds Women’s Aid and Spotlight charity (this year Spotlight’s focus is on violence against women in the workplace).

There are only 100 seats per night so make sure you arrive early in time to get a ticket!
