Stripped-down soul star Thabo Mkwananzi – known by stage name THABO – returns to Brudenell’s stage on 24th February in a highly anticipated comeback.

The Huddersfield-born singer/songwriter/producer, along with his three-piece band The Real Deal, is back with what he has labelled ‘bare knuckle soul’ material.  Building on the success of his previous EPs, THABO is now delving into intensely heavier beats and exposing even more raw emotion, whilst penning his recognizable politically charged lyrics.  Having experienced support slots, headline shows and the interest of major labels by 2015, 2016 saw the release schedule of THABO’s upcoming album tracks begin, of one song a month over twelve months until October of this year.
Whether you’ve listened to Thabo & The Real Deal for years or just for minutes, this show promises to knock your socks off.
