It has been announced today that the original Hidden Cafe space will be renamed, Common Ground when it reopens later this year.

The area has been closed since September while it undergoes a makeover as part of the union’s multi-million pound renovation.

Common Ground will be part of the new Union Square area, and will feature an open plan seating area with a cafe, games area and a space to study and relax.

There is no set opening date for the new cafe, but it is hoped to be completed within the next few months.
