The spaceship Hawkwind is landing at Leeds University on 16th March .
A true institution and one of the most influential British bands EVER, they almost need no introduction. They have been a constant force since the late 1960’s forging their unique space rock sound through the galaxy influencing countless bands and musical styles in their wake.
Their last album The Machine Stops was met with critical acclaim, portraying E M Forster’s scary dystopian vision of the future, and with a new album on the way, Into the Woods which is sure to be the perfect sequel, the night is set to be a cracking blend of old classics and new material.
