Kieran has completed the transformation into despairing heartbroken lead singer as he snarls “I lit the fire” with a passion that he’s never unleashed before. ‘Fire That Burns’ perfectly sways between beautifully delicate verses to surging pre choruses and choruses that you’ll absolutely love. This is the first time Circa Waves have steered completely away from a peppy chorus and it is fucking fantastic. I just hope more is in store on the new album.
