It’s been a turbulent year for Beach Slang. They’ve faced a reshuffle of their line-up and a foray into acoustic shows, but the group still ended 2016 on a high with their angsty sophomore record A Loud Bash of Teenage Feelings.
Straddling that fine line between punk and indie rock, tracks such as ‘Punks in A Disco Bar’ are infectiously catchy and promise to translate into an exciting and energetic live show. Exploding onto the scene from Philadelphia, the band have achieved a lot in their few years. Their reputation for loud, intimate live shows promises to bring a crowd flocking to hear James Alex’s distinctive vocals and witness their raucous, scuzzy energy for themselves.
This tour sees the debut of Beach Slang’s new touring line up as they welcome Aurore Ounjian and Cully Symington into the fold.
Catch Beach Slang play at Brudenell Social Club on the 25th January.
