Students returning to Leeds are in for a treat as Canal Mills presents tech-house duo ‘Solardo’ as they take over The Faversham in January.

After a fantastic year, Mark Richards and James Elliot have become one of the most in demands acts on the scene. Their energetic sound is certainly one for the dancers, with their breakthrough single ‘It’s a New Jam’ released in 2015 going on to become an essential track in Ibiza over the summer. The success has since continued for the hotly tipped production pair, having received praise from the likes of Jamie Jones, Richy Ahmed and Jackmaster for their unique production.

Their releases stretch far and wide on labels including Jamie Jones’ ‘Hot Creations’, Skream’s ‘Of Unsound Mind’, Kerri Chandler’s ‘Madtech’, Steve Lawler’s ‘Viva Music’ and Chase and Status’ ‘MTA Records’ as well as launching their own ‘Solä’ label. It’s no wonder Boiler Room commented that they are ‘big ambition at work’.
