Circa Waves’ new song is an evolution for the band. Ditching the cute boy soft rock for heavier, leather clad riffs, ‘Wake Up’ shows a ferocity never shown by Circa Waves before. Aggressive guitar resonates throughout the verses which will be sure to get crowds moving at their next gigs.  Despite the heavy sound, the chorus is a throwback to the soft touch of ‘Young Chasers’. This song will surely be the perfect bridge between the Circa Waves of old and new. ‘Young Chasers’ was the starter, now I’m dying for the main course.
