Next Thursday, I will be going to what I expect to be an entertaining show: Chas and Dave are

honouring us by performing in Leeds at the City Variety Music Hall, with their very British cheery

”rockney” music. I have big hopes in a room full of mixed audience, from students to nostalgic

fans, ready to have fun, singing along to all the hits such as ‘Aint No Pleasing You’ and ‘Rabbit’

that made the Cockney duo famous.
