The bodies, believed to be that of two women and a man, were found by officers at an address in the inner city area of East End Park shortly after midday following a call raising concern for the occupants.
The force have released that there appeared to have been a small fire at the property.
A cordon has been put in place as police remain at the scene and post-mortem examinations are due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
Acting Detective Mark Atkinson said: ‘We believe the deaths are likely to have occurred in the early hours of Saturday and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen the occupants of the address on Friday.’
