The Design Forum Initiative has bought us collections from the likes of Jean-Pierre Braganza and Eudon Choi and now Irish designer Zoe Jordan is to offer her design with a 11 piece collection. Inspired by Deep Purple lyrics, “Smoke on the water, Fire in the sky”, Jordan is sure to bring her signature androgynous, modern style to the high street. You can expect clean structures, ombre effects and misty prints amongst “subtle sophistication”.

Possibly the most anticipated collaboration since VersaceXH&M,  creative director Olivier Rousteing is to bless us all with his much loved designs for the fall.  With two pieces already seen on Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn at the Billboard Music Awards and slow updates from the fashion house, look forward to more baroque, intricate beading, fierce tailoring and all without the expensive price tags. “The Bruce by Bruce Oldfield” 60 piece collection from the British designer will hit stores early September. Educated in Yorkshire, the couturier has designed for Princess Diana, Helen Mirren and Catherine Zeta Jones in the past. Classic silhouettes fit for evening wear, luxurious faux fur lined coats and opulent materials complete Oldfield’s collection. The sophisticated and sumptuous ready-to-wear collection will be available in sizes 8-18 online and in-stores.

The 23 year old British popstar has created a 20 piece collaboration with the online retailer. Influenced by the 90’s, think glamorous, sparkly party wear, matching separates, and a bold colour palette reflecting Boom Clap singer Charli’s unique style. Described by the chart-topper as ‘fun, and electrifying’ this will be the first of three collections over 18 months. The capsule will be accompanied by a collection of “curated accessories”.

It’s not often we get a mens collaboration so hotly anticipated, but Elba’s 250 piece collection is certainly causing a stir. Revealed earlier this year at London Collection Mens, the Luther actor as one of the most fashionable British men, is the perfect gentleman to front the collection. Sleek tailoring and suave styles in “luxe” materials; leather, cashmere and organic cotton, the large collection will be available online and in-store and there’s something for every occassion.

The founder of CR Fashion book and the French editor behind so many of your favourite fashion campaigns Roitfeld is just one of UNIQLO’s recent collaborators. The 40 piece womenswear collection is promised to be ‘innovative, high quality clothing that promotes comfort’ and of course inexpensive. Known for her elegant yet sexy, understated yet chic style we’re extremely excited at the Gryphon to see what this collection will entail. Available in-store and in flagship stores worldwide you can grab your favourite piece for Fall at the end of October.

 

Christophe Lemaire x Uniqlo UnixCL

Former Hemes creative director and partner Sarah- Linh Tran, join Jil Sander, Pharell Williams and Helmut Lang in UNIQLO’s list of collaborators. Containing 30 pieces for women and 25 pieces for men, we’re anticipating luxury cozy knitwear (both cashmere and lambswool), muted colours and chic minimal basics. Lemaire has described his capsule collection as “accessible and comprehensive” with materials that are “soft and appealing.”
