The apocalypse was scheduled for Tuesday at precisely 12 noon, but when the clock finally struck the end did not come.

Frances and Zelda hooked up after an office flirtation and were ready to spend their final moments in each other’s arms. Josef and Cottard were childhood friends who had prepared to meet Armageddon sat on their sofa. When confronted with a delay to their demise, the four characters must struggle with their deteriorating relationships, claustrophobia and revelations about their past and personalities.

After The End is a fresh new piece of writing by Leeds students Jonny Walfisz and James Grimshaw for Leeds University Union Theatre Group. The play tackles the issues of friendship, love, regret and trauma and begs the question: what would you do if the end never arrived?

After The End runs from Tuesday 28th to Thursday 30th April in the Banham Theatre and is produced by Charlotte Gray and Eleanor Healing. It also stars talented student actors Sammy Gooch, Harry Duff Walker, Sasha Tadman and Dylan Marsh.
