On the 27th January, the Wire will be celebrating five incredible years of Butterz Records and hosting another one of its classic Jamz nights. It’s one to look forward with an unsurprisingly sick line up made up of Royal T, Spooky Bizzle, Butterz’ very own Flava D and its founders, Elijah & Skilliam. A night filled with grime is certainly refreshing break from Leed’s overpopulus of house sets (no offence intended).

Resident hosts Elijah & Skilliam will provide us with a set of UK Funky and old school grime beats that won’t disappoint, as will Flava D, a “certified don of grime” whose been making waves for some of her genres biggest names. Royal T is one of Rinse FM’s regular radio hosts whose every set’s drop is as satisfying as the last. Finally, Spooky Bizzle is another producer who has worked with grime’s big names- his own big hit “Spartan” won Grime Awards “Grime single of 2010”.
As exams draw to a close and the 2015 is about to finally begin, everyone is thinking about their next upcoming night. For any grime-enthusiast, Jamz is the night for you.
