Society l Charity Netball Competition

Netball Club are hosting a huge charity netball tournament and are calling for players and spectators. The event is in aid of Yorkshire charity, Candlelighters, “close to the hearts” of the society. Candlelighters offer support to the families of children with cancer. It is founded and run by the parents and medical staff of children diagnosed with cancer.

The event is open to everyone and is a mixed event, so teams can either be single-sex or mixed. Teams need to have a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 15.

Emily Rose told In The Middle: “We would love to get as many people involved as possible to come together and just have some fun raising money for a very worthy cause. There are also prizes to be won for the winning teams and a big raffle!”

When: 3-7pm, Saturday 6th December

Where: The Edge, Sports Hall 1

How much: £3 for each player

£1 for spectators
