Designers descended six inches down to Earth at fashion week this year, as New Balances replaced stilettos on the catwalks. Toughen up a tennis skirt with a Mod touch; 6-hole Doc Martens boots will become your best friend. Sports heroes encourage a ‘go for gold’ attitude, but don’t shy away from silver. Shiny plimsolls will give you wings around campus; pair them with a minimal outfit to accentuate slick leg lines. Game, set, match!
