Two University students were seen rowing a wooden boat in the Roger Stevens fountain at around 2am last night.

The incident was shared via Facebook after ‘Spotted: Leeds Uni’ page got hold of an image, showing two males holding oars as they paddled across the water.

It is believed the boat, which is still missing, was stolen from Stage@Leeds, where it had been stored after a recent production by LUU’s Theatre Group, Saved.

Both the society and ‘Spotted: Leeds Uni’ page have asked for any information regarding its whereabouts.
