In celebration of its 75th birthday, LUU will play host to some of its biggest media graduates in a series of ‘homecoming’ talks.
The line-up, which includes the likes of Liz and Andy Kershaw, will give students the opportunity to hear some of the tales from the stars’ illustrious careers.
BBC news presenter Naga Munchetty will also be in attendance, as well as brain researcher Mary Baker.
LUU marketing manager Sarah Mace said: ‘These talks are great for current students, as they will see how their co-curricular activity can help them to flourish later in life. In some cases, students will be given the opportunity to put their questions to these famous faces.’
Leeds University was recently named the top university for media graduates in a study by LinkedIn.
Media stalwarts Paul Dacre, Peter Morgan and Jay Rayner are just a few of the big names that passed through the Union’s doors.
Tickets for the talks can be booked at unionevents.org.
