The independent film festival No Gloss is returning to Leeds for its third year. Showing mainly a series of short films throughout the day, starting from two minutes long, it is also showing a few feature length pictures. It states in the programme that the films this year are here to represent the ‘strife’ that has occurred over this difficult past year, the films representing the struggles we’ve been through. There are some lighter moments, but expect the films to reflect the dark nature of recent events – here’s a trailer for one of them, Tripped, about a ‘young woman who struggles to reassemble the fragments of her crumbling relationship.’
