Clubs | Fieldtrip Festival Preview

Fieldtrip Festival has achieved a huge buzz before its debut on the 15th August. The Leeds based club nights ‘Back to Basics’, ‘Filth’ and ‘Butter Side Up’ have joined forces to create a detail orientated, intimate affair that many festivalgoers have been dreaming of for years. A stellar line up, a beautiful location and a quality ethos mean that this weekend should not be missed.

The Lab stage will be home to some of Fieldtrip’s bigger names. An especially exciting dream team of  Prosumer and Ben UFO headline on Saturday night, and Levon Vincent will certainly not allow Sunday evening to suffer from the typically quiet last night festival feel. If those names don’t tickle your fancy though and you’re after a different tempo be sure to head to the ‘YTP and Revolve’ stage on Saturday to catch the London based Dub PistolsThey have a busy summer ahead and Fieldtrip is the ideal place to catch them before they head abroad.

All told, this weekend is sure to deliver. In addition to the excellent line up on offer, there have been whispers of mud wrestling, kamikaze karaoke and acrobats to accompany the more traditional comedy and film tents as well as a ridiculous amount of real Yorkshire Ales available to wash down the tasty street food. All of that and for an especially reasonable price to boot; what more could you ask for?
