If you haven’t got your tickets for Leeds Festival yet, then you might want to get a move on since its southern counterpart Reading is now officially SOLD OUT!
Now, we know that Leeds isn’t as hip as your Latitudes, or as exciting as your Bestivals and Glastonburies, and of course we understand that Reading and Leeds are so the thing to do when you finish your GCSE’s, but with a line up like this one we know where we’re going to be getting down in the mud on August bank holiday weekend!
Working one’s way down the list of bands set to grace the stages at Bramham Park, it’s certainly hard not get in a bit of a tizz thinking about all the potential clashes as the crème de la crème of music’s finest and most popular have been piled into one line up. Anyone got a Bernard’s watch we can borrow!?
Whatever your taste – we hate to use a cliché here – there really is ‘something for everyone’. From the best of the ‘up and coming’ – MØ and Jungle are the one’s we’re saying are NOT to be missed – to getting nostalgic with the Kooks, to the pop-punk legends that will be headlining the Main Stage on Friday, Blink 182 – Leeds Fest is a musical smorgasbord of delight. And may we also draw attention to the fact that the line up Gods have shone on the festival this year, leaving Arctic Monkeys to close the festival on Sunday! Praise you, line up Gods, praise you indeed!
Other acts on the line up that we can’t wait to check out are: Queens of the Stone Age co-headlining with Paramore, The Neighbourhood, Bombay Bicycle Club, Warpaint, Wolf Alice, Vampire Weekend, and The Story So Far, to name but a few.
