It’s been a great year for Butter Side Up; the night has showcased a huge range of interesting artists and May’s bookings prove to be no different as Underground Quality head Jus-Ed and renowned crate digger Jane Fitz descend on Wire club on May 9th.
Originally hailing from East London, Jane Fitz has been producing, DJ’ing and throwing parties from Shoreditch to Hong Kong for the better part of two decades. Fitz is now at a stage in her career where the title ‘DJ’s DJ’ couldn’t be more apt; she’s acquired a cult following and a reputation for uncovering house and techno gems from the darkest depths of the underground scene.
Following a fifteen year hiatus from electronic music, Jus-Ed returned to the scene back in 2001 with a storm. Since then he’s been performing worldwide as well as keeping his hands busy founding the globally respected label Underground Quality, showcasing artists such as Nina Kraviz, Levon Vincent and Estaban Adame but to name a few.
Jus-Ed & Jane Fitz run their own radio shows on myhouseyourhouse.net which are well worth checking out if you’re not familiar with the artists, meanwhile with early bird’s sold out, get your £8 tickets for the event here.
