The Leeds Student editorial team are bringing an extravaganza of pool and quiz-related delights to the Hyde Park Pub this Thursday May 1. For a nominal fee, you can flex your knowledge of the periodic table and obscure Disney characters, as well as show off your trick shots on the pool table to a rapturous collection of spectators.

To be more specific, there will be a pool tournament followed by a pub quiz, and it will cost you only £1 to enter into the quiz or a mere £3 for both. We’ve arranged for cheap drinks offers, so as to ensure that your team names won’t be lacking in creative spark. Not only that, but there are some serious prizes on offer for the winners, which include a free dinner at some Leeds’ finest eateries, as well as a Hotel Chocolat box worth £68, which has been described to us as a “table of chocolate”.
