How are you feeling about your first birthday event?
“It can’t come soon enough! It all came together quite last minute so we’ve been pulling everything out the bag to make it happen. It doesn’t seem like a year since the first event with Synkro and the whirlwind of nights, hosting room 2s, live pod casts and the odd house party here and there has flown by!”

Are you warming into your new spot nicely at Wire after the move from Garage?
“The Garage became a bit of a second home for a lot of us and we really miss it, but Wire is spot on for us now the Garage has been shut down; it’s the perfect size, its got beefy sound and we love everyone that works there. Not to mention being surrounded by all the other nights they got going on there, I can see this becoming the new home away from home..”

What was the thought process behind booking Mosca?
“We saw him a while ago and he’s been top of our list for quite a while now. We’ve just been waiting for the right time, and with his new EP No Splice No Playback out the day before he plays with us, it seemed spot on!”

Could the rumours of party bags at the event possibly be true?
“We don’t like rumours, unless they are about free party bags. We’re thinking bubbles, a hat and a piece of cake, but we are open to suggestions.”

Anything you want to say to LS readers about the night?
“If you stick around to the bitter end, we will reward you with the first of our soon-to-be-regular slots, the old school power hour. That and a party bag, of course.”
