If you are yet to experience the electronic music utopia offered by Sónar Music Festival, this summer is the perfect time to visit one of the world’s greatest music celebrations situated across the gorgeous setting of Barcelona. For more than 20 years, Sónar Barcelona has changed our attitudes towards electronic music through its creative and eclectic combination of multimedia and interactive art.

Split into 2 events, Sónar by Day (now located in Fira Montjuïc facilities at Plaza d’Espanya) and Sónar by Night (at Fira Gran Via in L’Hospitalet) will be taking place on June 12th, 13th and 14th. This year the festival will play host to performances from Massive Attack, Richie Hawtin, Plastikman, Boys Noize, Todd Terje, Gesaffelstein, among many others, with the first phase lineup below:

Previous electronic music titans have included The Chemical Brothers, Claude VonStroke, Nicolas Jaar, Daft Punk, and many other phenomenal global music shapers over the past 20 years.

Sónar has become one of the most important festivals on the European music calendar, and alongside the festival goings-on, it boasts a selection of music presentations and showcases that are sprawled across the vast diverse cityscape.
