Students aspiring to show off their arty side have had the ideal platform this week thanks to the launch of the Little Leeds Fringe Festival, which has been a huge success across campus.
The event saw the launch of fashion shows, auctions and art performances. The success of the event, that started as an enterprise project two years ago, will mean that from next year be it will be run as an annual event by the PTI school.
The money made from this week’s festival will be used to fund future fringe projects and to subsidise student performances in a bid to raise money for charitable causes.
The organiser of the event, fourth year Management student, Frances Louisa Craven, told LS: “Next year it will be the school’s fringe festival which will one day hopefully expand as into the University’s fringe festival.”
